Simon transforms client projects from a blank piece of paper into a dynamic marketing experience

Simon enjoys the diversity that working with a diverse clientele offers. He thrives on the fact that every day, every project is different. As David Ogilvy once said "If it doesn't sell, it isn't creative." A maxim he believes in. He enjoys the challenge of tackling different creative and marketing problems, as each client requires a unique solution. Simon works directly with clients as their senior creative consultant, providing both conceptual and strategic approaches to marketing. He acts as the bridge from the ‘idea’ through to solution by defining, formulating, and developing the ‘stories’ that weave as marketing and digital campaigns to make up the brand.

Simon has lived and worked in France for more than half of his life,. With over 18 years’ experience in marketing roles, he has worked in marketing in a range of environments, from Cisco Systems in London during the first internet boom, agencyland at Ogilvy and Mather followed by numerous roles in client-side positions in the payment and technology industries for companies such as Fortinet and Ingram Micro.

Wanting his kids to learn English and grow up closer to their grandparents, Simon made the choice to move back to New Zealand in 2015. He travels regularly and spends his weekends with his wife and kids showing them New Zealand. He enjoys traveling, skiing and can also be frequently found in his kitchen slow cooking with a glass of red at hand. He’s also been known to tear it up on the electric guitar!
